Alberta Health Advisor from Wuhan.

I'm looking into the funding behind Alberta HS.

I came across something wild on their website just now.

The three Officer's listed on the Alberta Health Website Page under the Medical Office of Health:

Our Deputy Medical Officer of Health is Dr. Jing Hu.

"She received her medical degree from Tongji Medical University in Wuhan, China. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency, worked as a respirologist for three years, and earned a Ph.D. in Medical Science before coming to Canada. From 2014 to 2019, Dr. Hu did her Public Health and Preventive Medicine training at the University of Calgary. She was appointed the Deputy Medical Officer of Health in Alberta on January 27, 2020."

Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw.

"Dr. Deena Hinshaw completed her undergraduate degree at Augustana University College in Camrose, Alberta. She completed her medical degree, Masters in Public Health and residencies in family medicine and community medicine at the University of Alberta. She worked as a Medical Officer of Health in the Central Zone of Alberta Health Services from January 2010 to July 2017. She also served as the Medical Officer of Health lead in the area of public health surveillance and infrastructure for Alberta Health Services from 2014 to 2017. She served as Alberta Health’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Health from 2017 to 2019."

Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Marcia Johnson

Her duty is to support the Chief Medical Officer of Health in promoting and protecting the health of Albertans under the authority of the Public Health Act.
